First of all my most recent project "XIXIV"

This case (or actually "these cases") is based on 4 Aopen HQ-95A desktop housings of which I only used the baseframe.

Around these frames I have build 4 completely new housings which are inspired by the, well known in the Audio-Visual and server business, measurements of 19" rackmount equipment.

Because my pc collection started to get out of hand (when I started this project I had 3, but nr. 3was on it's way) and I lacked the space for them on my room I started brainstorming for a solution in which at least 3 (eventually it became 4) PC's could be housed in one piece of furniture.

Because at that moment I was still working as an Audio-Visual technician I very quickly came to the idea to build sort of an 19" equipment rack with 4 19" case and a few connection panels.
In the begining my intention was to give the whole a rather technical look, but when the project started shaping up I also got my first own home.
After that I decided to build the whole more or less in the same stile as my furniture in the living room, in which I succeeded very well if you ask me.

Despite the project not being finished yet, I still managed to win the first plac3in tBCL (the Benelux Casemod League) 2006.

A detailed worklog of the project can be found on the left under "XIXIV".

Besides XIXIV you'' find 2 more projects on this page.

One of them is "Silvertec", a mod based on the, back than very popular, chieftec bigtower series.
I did a lot of work on this case and gave it a very personal look. I tried to use as less shapes and ideas from other mods and even did a few things to it that I hadn't seen before (not saying that they hadn't been done before) like a mirror on the bottom and backpanel en a window in the bay door.

For a long time this case took a lot of my spare time, untill I bought my 3d pc and it got time to build one compact mod for all of them. At that time I sold my X-Aser and this Chieftec case and started something completely new, my current project "XIXIV" which can be found on the "current projects" page.

The case with which my casemod addiction started was a Thermaltake X-Aser II, not much of a mod, but more of a pre-mod. But still it has to be named on this site because it all started with it.
